Nas XXL Cover x "Nasty" Video

Commemorating 20 years in the game, Nas returns on the cover of XXL. Issue hits newsstands on October 25( Via Rap Radar).

Nas went back to his old hood of Queens Bridge to shoot the video for his first track of of Life is Good. Every time i hear this track, it takes me back to the mid 90s when Essco first became rap royalty.

Jay Electronica Ft. Mobb Deep “Call Of Duty”( With Lyrics)

Jay has the internet/twitter going nuts over his recent tweets and this new track featuring Havoc and Prodigy. Maybe, this is a sign that he's ready to release Act II. He dedicated the track to Apple’s late co-founder Steve Jobs and his own hometown. “I dedicate today’s release to Steve Jobs’ family, and the people of New Orleans,” he tweeted the day the tracked was released.

Kendrick will be joined on stage by fellow label mate SCHOOLBOY Q as he cycles through his hits spanning from his early career to his most recent project, the critically acclaimed #Section80. Also sharing the spotlight for the evening are buzzing DMV natives PHIL ADE and PHIL DA PHUTURE, both signees of Grammy nominated crooner Raheem DeVaughn’s 368 Music Group, as well as Houston’s own ASHTON TRAVIS, a lyrical mastermind recently crowned winner of the Hip-Hop Unplugged Series, hosted by Def Jam’s Lenny Santiago and MTV’s Sway. I remember Tabi doing this track last year when he opened up for Talib Kweli at the Black Cat in DC. I couldn't wait to get the CDQ of this song to bump in my car all summer. Tabi has recently directed the video for one of my favorite songs by him to date.  With each new jam, Tabi continues to use his unique style to put on for our hometown of Washington, DC.

Miles Davis, one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, was born on this date in 1926 in Alton, Illinois. Davis was at the forefront of almost every major development in jazz from World War II to the 1990s. His sound was one only made by him and was constantly evolving.

The Greater Than Club is the latest album from Fly.Union. This group from Columbus, Ohio has been on the road working hard laying down the ground work for this project. This new collection of music has appearances from Dom Kennedy, B.J. The Chicago, and Pac Div. These three along with Stalley continue to do their part to put Ohio's Hip-Hip scene on the map with the music they are blessing us with.
