Jay has the internet/twitter going nuts over his recent tweets and this new track featuring Havoc and Prodigy. Maybe, this is a sign that he's ready to release Act II. He dedicated the track to Apple’s late co-founder Steve Jobs and his own hometown. “I dedicate today’s release to Steve Jobs’ family, and the people of New Orleans,” he tweeted the day the tracked was released.
Here's some unreleased Jay Electronica that has the great Muhammad Ali sampled on it. Jay is reportedly recording his debut album in Africa as you read this. Enjoy as this as the King creates a classic masterpiece in the motherland.
"I went from nothing to something like the planet earth, I'll show these major labels how to make a man from dirt" -Jay Electronica
Jay Electronica has blessed us with more music to hold us over until his highly anticipated album drops sometime this year. To fully understand Jay I feel you need to actually read his lyrics as you listen to the jewels he drops. The lyrics to this track are HERE.
Jay Electronica released a tribute to Guru via his twitter account yesterday. Enjoy more music from the man who has been the soundtrack to this YEBies movement.
Here's some long overdue and highly anticipated music from Roc Nation's newest member. Now that Electronica has Hov beside him hopefully Act 2: Patents of Nobility (The Turn) will be coming out sooner than later.
Finally some new Jay Electronica even if it is old and he was holding on to it. Apparently this song was inspired my the mother of his child Ms. Badu, which makes this even better. I hope we get that CD this summer that he promised us. If we can't get that, can we at least get a track biweekly??? I guess slow motion better than no motion.
If you know anything about YEBies or me (the guy behind it) then you know the soundtrack to this whole YEBies movement has been Jay Electronica. This post right here is suppose to be like my Exhibit C with the title being Just Blaze right before Jay goes in. No movement is truly successful unless the groundwork is done properly. YEBies.com is on its way. Like the great Muhammad Ali once said "Greatness comes from knowing that your train is always on time". I can't give you a date nor time when the entire site will be ready for you guys but know that it's right around the corner. Thanks for your continued support as YEBies continues to build and progress. Now go tell your family, friends, and loved ones to go join the Facebook Fan Page even though you guys aren't really fans but more like family. Also stay updated with the movement by following YEBies on Twitter if you already haven't. If you want to get at me directly you can hit me at @Y_E_B.
Here's some Jay Electronica and Pharoahe Monch live from the free show at Red Hook Park in Brooklyn
P.S.- From this day froth this blogspot page will return to its original purpose which was to be my personal blog where I said and did exactly what I want. So sit back and enjoy until YEBIES is ready for the world....
Since I'm not posting as much during this transition period, I thought I would give yall the a compilation of the music that is keeping me going with the progression of YEBies. This was also put together because I quote this guy's music everyday on Twitter so I thought it would only be fair to give all of my followers a great point of reference for my daily 140's. Download and enjoy. THIS is GOD HOP....

That's why the people got my back like the Verizon man.
I play the back and fade to black and then devise a plan." - Exhibit C
