Phil Ade – Deadlines [Video]

The homie Phil Ade from 368 has a new video for his take on Drake's lead single. S/O to Dre, Raheem, and the entire 368 Music Group family for continually putting out dope music on the behave of the DMV.

Phil Ade - #PhilAdeFriday [Mixtape]

My apologies for the late post Phil, this updating thing gets harder each day I tell you. I personally know how hard Phil was working on this project while A Different World got pushed back. Matter of fact I have a cameo in the video for the first track on here. This #PhilAdeFriday Mixtape contains all of Phil's recent Friday freestyles/tracks along with a few bonus jamss. This tape is hosted by my homie from the 1st floor at Dream/Love Night Club days, DJ Money. 368 has done it again, What Up Dre... Be on the lookout for A Different World from Phil this summer.

To Know Where You're Going, You Must Know Where You Came From....

Over this past weekend I had a chance to partake in some pretty ill stuff with some pretty incredible people and the one thing that was common throughout my weekend was the influence of Hip Hop in everything that went down.

The rap music was the soundtrack to my weekend as the styles, clothes, and venues left lasting images for a lifetime. So I decided that it was only right that this Wednesday I would pay homage to all the original parts of what we now know as HIP HOP by putting up Wild Style.

B-Boying/Breaking, MCing, Graffiti/ Tagging, DJing, and Knowledge, Culture and Understanding

Knowledge will always be King....

P.S. Shout out to Quinn / TheGeePee for turning his crib into a mixture of THIS pool scene and THIS one. Hello Summer.....

It's Coming.....

If you know anything about YEBies or me (the guy behind it) then you know the soundtrack to this whole YEBies movement has been Jay Electronica. This post right here is suppose to be like my Exhibit C with the title being Just Blaze right before Jay goes in.  No movement is truly successful unless the groundwork is done properly. YEBies.com is on its way. Like the great Muhammad Ali once said "Greatness comes from knowing that your train is always on time". I can't give you a date nor time when the entire site will be ready for you guys but know that it's right around the corner. Thanks for your continued support as YEBies continues to build and progress. Now go tell your family, friends, and loved ones to go join the Facebook Fan Page even though you guys aren't really fans but more like family.  Also stay updated with the movement by following YEBies on Twitter if you already haven't. If you want to get at me directly you can hit me at @Y_E_B.

Here's some Jay Electronica and Pharoahe Monch live from the free show at Red Hook Park in Brooklyn

P.S.- From this day froth this blogspot page will return to its original purpose which was to be my personal blog where I said and did exactly what I want. So sit back and enjoy until YEBIES is ready for the world....

Here's some new J. Cole over Common's "Go" track from the classic album BE. Now we must sit and wait for more because you know there's more where that came from. I think Cole and his camp have the formula down correctly, less is often more.
