SUNLIGHT - tabi Bonney (directed by tabi Bonney)

I remember Tabi doing this track last year when he opened up for Talib Kweli at the Black Cat in DC. I couldn't wait to get the CDQ of this song to bump in my car all summer. Tabi has recently directed the video for one of my favorite songs by him to date.  With each new jam, Tabi continues to use his unique style to put on for our hometown of Washington, DC.

Theo Martins-"I Can’t Stop" (Puffy Time)

Here's some new Dub-Step inspired music from "RI Hero" Theo Martins. He has been killing it of late with some great music to get us ready for this change in the weather. Be on the look out for Mr. Martins in a town near you this summer as he continues to spread his musical talents to the world.

Miles "The Trumpet Man" Davis...

Miles Davis, one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, was born on this date in 1926 in Alton, Illinois. Davis was at the forefront of almost every major development in jazz from World War II to the 1990s. His sound was one only made by him and was constantly evolving.

Kendrick Lamar – HiiiPoWeR [Video]

This has been the most played song by #YEBies since it dropped. Cole did his thing with this beat as well. West Coast Rap is in good hands with Kendrick and #BlackHippy at the forefront.
